The Best Ways To Lose Weight: How Past Traumas Affect You!

For 3 years ago they presented a man on TV called David Smith who used to weigh 650 pounds but managed to lose 400 pounds.
Today (3 years later) he has gained all his weight back again and he is struggling like millions of people against his weight.
As you can understand, this must have been really heartbreaking for this man.
After spending so much time and energy to lose all that weight, only to get back where he started.
While watching this interview, I asked myself why this happened.
Why is there so many people struggling against overweight and obesity?
One of the things this man mentioned was that he had changed on the outside but not on the inside.
When I heard this I came to think about some of the factors that could be related to obesity and overweight.
Past Traumas:
Some would agree that past traumas could trigger our weight gain. Those types of triggers could have physical effects on your body, causing us to store fat instead of eliminating it.
This happens when (most likely) when your body is trying to protect you from emotional pain. Traumas could very well activate something in your body called F.A.T (famine and temperature) programs (those programs are like light switches, which can be activated or deactivated causing your body to either store or lose fat).
If you have experienced an emotionally demanding and devastating situation, you might need to deal with your issue more directly.
How To Overcome Our Past Traumas:
We are all different; however there are certain things we can do.
Here's 3 Top Recommendations:
1) Healing therapies
Have you ever considered talking about your feelings?
Even if we all handle our problems in different ways, the truth is that learning how to overcome our past traumas could lead us to next step.
2) Daily Visualizations
Visualizing each day what you want to accomplish and how you're going to do it can also help you overcome traumas. You can do it at anytime during the day. Many have been able to resolve terrible past traumas all on their own, just by doing this.
3) A Support Network
Having the support of a network can really help us improve ourselves and get back on the right track, reminding us of where we need and want to be.
Once we overcome our issues it's going to be even easier for us to fight overweight.
Things from our past could have a deep impact on how we see ourselves and how capable we feel we are to confront a certain situation.
I encourage you to solve any unresolved emotional problem. If you manage to do this, you will be glad you did, it will only have a positive impact on your overall health and weight.
